A visit to Santa at Daddy's week was less than enthusiastic. We got our only photo by having Mommy hold Vivie and NOT Santa.
The family started our Christmas traditions with a beautiful Christmas tree. Vivie loves seeing the lights turn on each morning on her tree. During the week leading up to Christmas, we made Christmas cookies and wrapped presents.
On Christmas Eve, we attended the Children's service at church where Vivie saw angels, sheep, donkeys, wisemen and a BABY! There was lots of singing and Vivie really enjoyed herself. When we got home from church, Vivienne went over to the Christmas tree and decided that she was ready for her presents. So, she grabbed one and opened it! Her official first Christmas present was her first doll that she selected herself. After a tubby, Vivienne, Mommy and Daddy prepared a plate for Santa. Cookies and Egg Nog!
On Christmas morning, Vivie noticed that Santa ate most of the cookies and drank most of the egg nog that we left for him. We hope he liked his snack! Vivie enjoyed opening all of hte presents that Santa brought for her.
